My Better, or Other, Half!

As many of you know, Shane and I were high school sweethearts. We met while Shane was a senior and I was a junior. We had a class together and at one point, before we started dating, he and I were given an assignment together. He never said a word to me, except to ask me my name. I thought he was such a jerk. The truth was he kind of liked me already and was just being shy. How cute! We eventually went out on a date and that was the end of that story. I remember telling my mom when I was eighteen that I felt that Shane and I were meant to be married some day. She must have been shaking in her shoes as I was so young. We did get engaged at nineteen and married at the young age of twenty-one. Thank you Mom, Dad, Rich and Gail for being so supportive of us.
